This programme is for adults looking to start or transition into a career that offers the flexibility of working from home. You don’t need any existing qualifications to successfully complete the programme.
On this course, you will have the opportunity to gain essential professional skills, covering areas like cyber security awareness, effective virtual communication, and efficient online collaboration tools. These qualifications and skills will significantly increase your flexibility and eligibility for a wide range of remote and hybrid roles across various industries.
The course is free to adults aged 19 or over who are currently in receipt of an eligible benefit (such as Universal Credit). Please see below for more details and for costs if you are not entitled to study for free.
Who is the course for?
This course is for eligible learners, living in our programme areas, looking for employment or a career accross a range of industries offering home or remote working.
You will also need to be in receipt of a qualifying benefit, have a suitable laptop or PC with camera as well as good basic IT skills, and be able to commit to each day of the programme.
How is the course delivered?
The course is delivered online by a live tutor via Google Classroom and follows a structured timetable of video tutorials, group sessions, workbook study and assessments.

Entry requirements
Candidates must meet the below eligibility for the Pre-employment Programme.
- A resident in the UK/Europe for at least the last 3 years
- Be aged 19+
- Hold photographic ID
- Must be unemployed
- Candidates must also be able to commit to attending the required times for the full duration of the programme (Absence is not permitted)
- A PC/ laptop with camera
