Tempus Training is proud to announce a new partnership with the Solent Growth Partnership to deliver the “Solent Skills Bootcamp Wave 6” focused on construction. This new initiative is a significant step towards addressing the skills gap in the Solent region and providing valuable career opportunities for individuals.

What are Skills Bootcamps?

Skills Bootcamps are free, flexible, and intensive training programs designed to help adults (aged 19+) gain job-specific skills in a short amount of time . They are funded by the government and are designed in collaboration with employers to ensure the skills taught are directly relevant to current job vacancies and industry needs.

The Construction Skills Bootcamp is available to adults aged 19 and over, including those who are employed, self-employed, or unemployed. The program provides a minimum of 60 guided learning hours and can last up to 16 weeks. A key feature of the bootcamps is the “guaranteed interview” for participants, which is intended to lead to a new job, a new role with additional responsibilities, or new opportunities for self-employed learners. All participants also receive wraparound career and personal development support.
