About the job
As our Learner Recruitment & Employer Engagement Manager, you’ll be responsible for the “Golden Thread” of our funded courses: securing the right learners, building the right partnerships, and ensuring successful course outcomes.
You will lead our Learner Bookings Team, ensuring they hit individual and team targets, while personally spearheading our engagement with Jobcentre Plus, the Probation Service and our wider referral network.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learner Engagement: Lead activities to promote our courses and achieve referrals from partner organisations and agencies.
- Employer Engagement: Proactively source high-quality job vacancies from employers who can provide our learners with a guaranteed job interview.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain successful partnerships with referral partners including JCP, Probation Services, and local employment groups.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate the internal learner bookings team to achieve course enrolment targets.
- Outcome Tracking: Oversee the collection of vital learner progression data, ensuring all interview and employment outcomes are recorded accurately and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will be a high-energy “closer” with a background in funded training, recruitment, or business development. They will understand the complexities of government-funded contracts and have a proven track record of meeting ambitious KPIs.
Key Administrator Skills & Experience
- Exceptional Communication: The ability to pitch our training solutions to employers and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic Sales Ability: Proven experience in lead generation, closing deals, and managing key accounts.
- Leadership Experience: A natural ability to manage a team, drive performance, and “think on your feet” in a fast-paced environment.
- Digital Proficiency: Strong IT skills (MS Office/CRM) to manage reporting and data-driven decision-making. A knowledge and understanding of Social Media Marketing would be beneficial.
